| Our client is international manufacturer and provider of analytical instruments for a wide number of industries, especially the chemical engineering and manufacturing sectors. This European based company was founded in the early 1900's currently has 8,600 employees worldwide and offices throughout the world. Due to the growth of our client's business in Thailand, the company is seeking an experience senior candidate to take upon the following key role within their organization. The General Manager (Sales) will report to the expatriate Regional Sales Director based in Singapore and be required:- To lead our client's sales and service activities in Thailand. This will involve the management of a sales team, ability to prospect new sales opportunities, establish and maintain profitable relationships with clients in addition to ensuring sales and service standards are maintained at exceptional levels. To continuously follow market trends and developments, document sales reports and assess new business opportunities for solution based sales. To have P & L responsibilities, maintain distribution channels and continually managing and supervising all sales and technical subordinates. Qualifications Degree level in engineering subject - preferably in Chemical Engineering At least 15 years experience in Managing Sales and Technical Organization - preferably within the Scientific and/or Analytical Instrument Industry. Very good command of English language is a MUST Be able to develop and maintain strong relationships and be result orientated with a high level of initiative. **This is a senior management role with a very large and reputable multinational leader and excellent opportunity for a very experienced candidate.
